Our client, a leading company in the restaurants and pastry sector, is seeking a qualified Accountant to join their team and play a key role in supporting accurate financial and inventory management and the company’s overall success.

9am - 5pm / 6 Days a week
Salary range
IQD 600,000 – 700,000

Responsibilities
- • Record and monitor daily financial transactions and accounting entries.
- • Monitor inventory accounts and record receiving, issuing, and transfer transactions.
- • Conduct and follow up on inventory counts and reconcile physical inventory with accounting records.
- • Calculate and monitor the Average Cost of materials.
- • Review financial and inventory data, identify discrepancies and errors, and follow up on necessary adjustments.
- • Enter and update data using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- • Prepare financial and inventory reports as required.
- • Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure data accuracy and compliance with accounting procedures.
Qualifications
- • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in accounting.
- • Good knowledge of warehouse and inventory operations; experience in retail or the restaurant sector is preferred.
- • Good understanding of Average Cost and its calculation.
- • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- • Ability to prepare reports, work effectively within a team, and follow established procedures.
- • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and inventory errors.
