Our client, a leading company in the restaurants and pastry sector, is seeking a qualified Accountant to fill this position and play a vital role in the company’s overall success.

750,000 - 900,000 IQD

Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Reconciliation: Audit bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger entries to ensure accuracy.
- Taxation: Compute taxes owed, prepare tax returns, and ensure compliance with relevant financial and taxation regulations.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and identify financial trends to support strategic planning.
- Compliance & Auditing: Enforce internal controls and ensure financial records adhere to legal standards and industry regulations. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certifications: Professional credentials like Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) are highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables).
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
