Our client, a leading company in the Engineering sector, is seeking a qualified Accountant to fill this position and play a vital role in the company’s overall success.

Working time
08:30AM - 04:30PM / 6 Days a week
Salary range
750,000 - 1,000,000 IQD

Responsibilities
- Record daily accounting entries and financial transactions and verify supporting documents.
- Monitor project revenues and expenses and allocate costs accurately.
- Follow up on employee, project, and purchasing advances and their settlements.
- Review supplier and subcontractor invoices and monitor outstanding balances.
- Prepare required accounting reports and support monthly financial closing.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in accounting; experience in contracting or construction companies is preferred.
- Good knowledge of project accounting, advances, and project payment certificates.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation.
- Good organizational and follow-up skills.
