A MasterMinds client, a leading company in the general trad sector, is seeking a qualified customs clearing officer to fill this position and play a vital role in the company’s overall success.

Working time
9:00 - 5:00 / 6 Days a week
Salary range
750,000 - 1,000,000

Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit customs documentation for import and export shipments.
- Liaise with customs authorities, shipping lines, and freight forwarders to ensure smooth clearance
- Verify invoices, packing lists, and other shipping documents for accuracy and compliance
- Track shipments and resolve any issues or delays in the clearance process
- Maintain updated knowledge of customs laws, tariffs, and regulations
- Ensure timely payment of duties, taxes, and other applicable fees
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- 2–3+ years of experience in customs clearance or logistics
- Strong understanding of import/export regulations and documentation
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
