Our client who is a leading company specialized in the field of Hospitality industry solutions in Baghdad, is seeking a qualified Tourist village manager to fill this position and play a vital role in the overall success of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall daily operations of the tourist village to ensure smooth and efficient performance.
  • Manage and supervise all departments including accommodation, facilities, maintenance, security, and guest services.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to enhance service quality and guest satisfaction.
  • Lead, train, and evaluate staff performance, ensuring high productivity and professional conduct.
  • Prepare and manage operational budgets, control costs, and optimize profitability.
  • • Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies to increase occupancy rates and revenues.
  • • Build relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients, tour operators, and key partners.
  • • Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and identify new business opportunities.
  • • Ensure excellent customer experience by handling guest feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally.
  • • Coordinate promotional campaigns, events, and seasonal offers to enhance the village’s market presence.
  • • Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and hospitality best practices.
  • • Prepare regular reports on operations, sales performance, occupancy rates, and financial results for management.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff.

Qualifications

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Tourism, Hotel Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in hospitality or tourism operation
  • At least 3–5 years in a managerial or senior supervisory role
  • Proven experience managing resorts, hotels, tourist villages, compounds, or large recreational facilities
  • Experience in multi-department management (accommodation, maintenance, security, guest services, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of hospitality operations and service standards
  • Proven ability to manage large teams and multiple departments
  • Experience in staff training, performance evaluation, and discipline
  • Ability to develop and implement policies, procedures, and SOPs
  • Solid experience in budget preparation and cost control
  • Understanding of profit & loss (P&L) management
  • Ability to analyze occupancy rates, revenue, and operating costs
  • Experience in sales planning and revenue optimization
  • Strong leadership and decision-making ability
  • High level of organization and time management
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities
  • Results-driven, professional, and accountable
