A masterminds client who is a leading company specialized in the field of Construction & Engineering Projects in Baghdad, is seeking a qualified General Manager to fill this position and play a vital role in the overall success of the company.

Responsibilities
- Define and execute the Group's short- and long-term strategic plans in alignment with the Board's vision.
- Oversee day-to-day operations across all business units, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery of projects and services.
- Lead business development efforts including tendering, proposals, client acquisition, and strategic partnerships.
- Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cost control — and report financial performance to the Board.
- Build and develop a high-performing team through recruiting, mentoring, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and contractual obligations while proactively managing corporate risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related) — required; MBA or Engineering Management preferred.
- Professional certifications (PMP, CEng, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- 10–15 years of progressive experience in engineering, construction, or technical services sectors.
- At least 5 years in a senior management or executive leadership role, ideally within SMEs.
- Strong command of the engineering project lifecycle, BOQ, tendering, and contract management.
- Sound financial acumen — budgeting, P&L management, and cost analysis.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Arabic and English.
- Decisive, results-driven leader with a strategic mindset and an entrepreneurial spirit.
