Senior Accountant

Our client, a leading group of companies specializing in multiple sectors, is seeking
a qualified Senior Accountant to fill this position and play a vital role in the
overall success of the company.

Working time
9 Hours per day / 6 Days a week
Salary range
1,500,000 - 2,000,000 per month

Responsibilities
- - Manage and optimize financial reporting within the company's ERP system.
- - Ensure compliance with Iraqi tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- - Manage external audit preparations and regulatory compliance documentation.
- - Supervise and mentor junior accountants.
- - Manage bank reconciliations, cash flow, and treasury operations.
- - Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
- - Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Qualifications
- - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent is a plus).
- - Advanced knowledge of financial statements and IFRS/IAS standards.
- - Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
- - Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.
- - Experience managing or supervising an accounting team.
- - Strong knowledge of Iraqi tax law and regulatory compliance.
