Responsibilities
- Lead the Cathodic Protection (CP) crew in executing CP monitoring and maintenance activities at site.
- Plan, supervise, and ensure timely completion of cathodic protection inspection and preventive maintenance works.
- Manage CP inspection PMs, inspection deferrals, and related management of change activities.
- Attend PSSR meetings and coordinate with operations readiness teams as the subject matter representative for CP activities.
- Provide technical guidance and field support to assistant CP technicians during monitoring and maintenance jobs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Valid NACE CP Level 3 Technologist certification is mandatory.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in cathodic protection monitoring and maintenance projects, preferably in upstream onshore oil & gas facilities.
- Hands-on experience in cathodic protection systems, monitoring, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of solar-powered CP systems and AC-powered CP systems.
