Our client, a leading company in the Wood sector, is seeking a qualified Inventory Manager to fill this position and play a vital role in the company’s overall success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee inventory and store operations to ensure accurate stock management, efficient material flow, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement inventory management procedures for raw materials, spare parts, and finished goods.
  • Coordinate with the Purchasing Department to ensure the timely availability of required materials.
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain appropriate stock availability while minimizing shortages and excess stock.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts, audits, and stock reconciliations.
  • Ensure that ERP / Microsoft Dynamics AX records accurately match physical inventory.
  • Monitor and report stock movements, inventory discrepancies, shrinkage, and material utilization.
  • Supervise inventory and store personnel, including storekeepers, assistants, and helpers.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, documentation, and movement of materials.
  • Maintain compliance with workplace safety standards and inventory control procedures.
  • Prepare periodic inventory and stock-performance reports for management review.
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and warehouse processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or store management.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control and stock management principles.
  • Good practical experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX.
  • Strong leadership and team-management capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage inventory records accurately and coordinate effectively with purchasing and other departments.
