Senior Videographer & Video Editor

Our client, a leading creative and marketing agency in Sulaymaniyah, is seeking a talented Video Editor to fill this position and play a vital role in the agency's content production and overall creative success.

Salary range
1,000,000 – 1,300,000 IQD per month

Responsibilities
- Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Produce Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, and advertisements.
- Add motion graphics, transitions, subtitles, sound effects, and music to enhance video content.
- Collaborate with the creative team, content creators, and account managers to execute campaign concepts.
- Ensure all video content is optimized for each platform's specifications and best practices.
- Maintain brand consistency across all client projects.
- Organize and manage project files in a structured and efficient manner.
- Stay current on social media trends, editing techniques, and platform algorithm updates.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Qualifications
- Strong, demonstrable portfolio of video editing work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
- Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
- Experience with color correction, audio editing, and motion graphics.
- Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Prior experience in a marketing agency, creative agency, or content production environment.
- Ability to operate professional camera equipment for photo and video shoots, is a plus.
- Knowledge of studio lighting, product photography, and event coverage, is a plus.
- Understanding of branding principles and how visual content supports marketing objectives.
